We have been steadily adding stores and coupons for WordPress themes, plugins and hosting since we launched in beta mode last month. Our plan is to add new features and new stores for several months then have an official launch for CouponWP. One of the first new features we have added is the Store Directory. Now you can browse coupons for specific stores by selecting one from the new alphabetical directory. This also gives you an idea of how many stores we are currently tracking coupons for. You can expect even more as we work to improve CouponWP.

We’re very happy to announce that CouponWP is online. We will have an official launch in a couple months, but for now the site is complete enough to begin helping people save money with coupons for WordPress themes, plugins and hosting. Learn a bit about this project…

What is CouponWP?

CouponWP is a RetailMeNot-style coupon website that focuses on WordPress-related products. We track the latest coupon codes for WordPress themes, plugins and hosting. The idea is to help WordPress users save money. We also want to help WordPress theme and plugin developers promote their work (that’s why they make promo codes).

The idea for CouponWP was born out of a coupons/deals section on our other website, ThemeSorter. Over there, we focus on premium WordPress themes. We thought it’d be great to take that idea a step further and track coupons for WordPress plugins and hosting too. Surprisingly, our research did not turn up a site like CouponWP already in existence (at least not one that was up-to-date with real codes). And so here it is.

Join Our Community

We would like invite you to participate in this project. If you are a WordPress user, we ask that after you try a code, please click the “Thumbs Up” or “Thumbs Down” icon to let other users know if the code worked for you. This will also help us eliminate codes that have expired.

If you know of a coupon, would you submit it? We’ll post it so that other WordPress users can get the same discount you did. And if you’re a store rather than a user, we would love for you to submit your codes too. Why not even make a “COUPONWP” code just for our visitors?

Over the next couple months we will be expanding CouponWP by adding more stores and coupons. You can expect new coupon codes for great themes and plugins every week, so check back frequently. We are also going to add a few more features to make the site even more useful. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the beta version of CouponWP.
